Cooking with Gas

Jesus amazes me each time I read the Scriptures. This morning I was reading John 18… Judas turned Jesus over to the soldiers and officials from the chief priests and Pharisees. Jesus never blinked at the challenge. He kept His vision and stayed focused. Chaos broke out at the scene and He never lost sight of what He was about and the vision for His life.

Man… When things are rockin we have to stay focused. Sometimes I feel as though I lose sight of the big picture in the day to day details of life. We are called to live out a vision with our lives. We need to live, eat, sleep and breathe what we are about each and every day. God has called us to be world changers… This takes vision, focus, commitment, goals, and HARD WORK.

I am so enthused that our Great God we serve has placed me in an environment where people are passionate about a vision. It's awesome working with a team of people who remind me and challenge me each day to press forward. Thanks to all of you who serve with me.

We are cranking it up and cooking with gas…..

  Starting two services on June the 24th
  Hosting Team Impact five nights this week with "Who Rock's the House"
  Praying for 1000 in our average weekend attendance
  Praying for 100 each Weds. Night in our student ministries
  Praying for 100 children each weekend in Island Jam
  Praying for the names on the wall
  Praying for many to know and follow Jesus
  Praying for the name of Jesus to become famous in our city
  

Let’s stay focused on the above and be like Jesus… never blinking at the challenge and keeping the vision of what He has called us to do.
