A Cool Day...

I have been doing some cool stuff today. Many may not think of it as being cool, but if you were me you would.

1. I spent time with my family this morning first thing. I thought that was pretty cool.
2. I helped to get the floor project in the lobby back under way. Cool... because we are getting closer to the finish of this.
3. I returned some phone calls and helped to motivate a few people. I love it when this happens... that is what my job is all about... Helping people reach their full God given potential.
4. Started doing some sermon prep... It is cool when the ideas start flowing.
5. Had lunch with a couple of cool student pastors and the wife of one. That was cool... we had red meat. I think Heather had salmon.
6. Met with a couple of area pastors... This is always cool to see what God is doing through other leaders and learn some things from them.
7. Spent some time this afternoon planning the next three weekends with Rick. That was cool... we got lots done and I think these next three weeks are going to be off the chain!
8. Talked with Chris about his message for Wednesday. It was cool to hear what God is going to deliver through him to our students this week. I think they will be challenged.
9. Studied some more for this weekend... If you feel like you are alone, tired, or on an island that a tidal wave is about to hit, you will want to be here this weekend. It is going to be cool seeing how to overcome this.
10. Talked with Lance, our lighting director... It is always good to meet with him. He is the real deal. I love his heart and work ethic. It is cool hanging with people like him.
11. Blogging right now... It is cool sharing my day with you.
12. I am going to exercise in a few minutes... It will be cool when I finish.
