Do You Want To See Something Change?

What do you want to happen in your life? What do you want to change? Do you wish your heart was more focused on Christ? Do you feel distracted and feel as though you cannot deepen your relationship with Christ? Do you want Christ to be the center of everything in your life... Your relationships, your family, your finances, your job, your eternity, your leisure life? Do you feel as though you do not know how to make this happen?

It is called, surrender to Christ!!!

How do you know if you have really made this leap?

It is very simple, but so many people do not like using Jesus' measuring rod.

Here it is... Are you ready?

Luke 12:34 - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Jesus is saying... Your heart will go where your treasure goes. So look at your treasure and see what is at the center of your life. If you don't like it... then think about moving some of your treasure. This will help in changing your heart. We tend to care about our investments... Our heart moves in that direction. What are you investing in?

We cannot buy our way into the Kingdom.... Jesus did that for us. However, our investments can change our focus and our heart.

I heard it said one time that the clearest barometer of our life is seen in the registry of our checkbook. Imagine a game where you were given someone's check registry (or online printout) and you had to figure out "what that person was all about."
Tough stuff but I wouldn't fly an aircraft without an attitude indicator that showed me the truth about whether the plane was going straight, up or down, or tilted. You don't always "feel" the reality.
Good stuff Clay.

Thank you again Pastor Clay for a well timed blog. God always knows when you need to put out where you need to put out.

It's easy. Stop sitting on the fence and jump in. Put GOD in everything you do. When GOD is deposited in you, then you can deposit it in others. He will protect you from the fears you face, he will make you shine in a crowd, he will teach you how to raise a family. Junp in. I dare you.
