Examination

Are you examining the Bible or is the Bible examining you? Bible study is great. However, if all we do is read the cover off of the Bible for the information, we are in trouble.

Transformation is the goal of God’s Word. God wants His Word to get in us, so It can change us, and work through us.

Learning bible nuggets can be real cool, but if we are not applying the Word to our daily life, then we are just spinning our wheels.

God’s Word is challenging, interactive, and transformational. When I read It, I have to ask myself questions about change. God’s Word is like a mirror. It is to reflect something to us so we can become more like Christ.

What does God want you to change today?

It amazes me how many times we wish for something, but do nothing. We say, I wish my marriage would get better, I wish my financial situation would change, I wish my attitude towards life could change, I wish my physical condition was different, I wish I could learn to forgive more, I wish I had more time. If this is you, allow God’s Word to transform you. Remember, a life of obedience leads to a life of abundance!!!
