Troy Gramling had this great post today. Though it is addressed to leaders, I think all people need to think about the dream. What drives you? What do you get up for? Where do you place your hope? Are you getting in the boat and sailing towards your dream? Man, I believe freedom is found in Christ... Freedom in my marriage, freedom in my finances, freedom in my time. Freedom is found in Christ Centered Living!!! Jesus spoke of this in Matthew 6:33. Let His Kingdom be the center! That is a meaning to this word "first" in this passage! How are you doing?
This was my response to Troy's post... Wow! This post snatches my chain! Man, this is what I stay awake at night thinking about. How do we get people to see the dream and have the courage to get on the boat? The dream of “A Christ Centered Life” and get on the “boat of faith” and sail towards the dream. I dream of millions lined up to get on this boat!!!
One thing God is showing me right now. Communicate the dream with conviction and urgency… People need to see the leader’s heart to believe the dream! I ask the following question before I speak each week. “God what do you want for these people?”
