My son, Cole, gave me the coolest gift for Christmas. It is a glass block that sits on my desk! This is what is written on it... "Any man can be a Father. It takes someone special to be a dad." Is that cool or what?
This is one of the things I want to commit to for 2008.... Be the greatest dad on the planet!
I know I love my son so much. For him to give me this gift and acknowledge that I am not only his father, but his dad, drives me, as the dad, to do more.
How often do we look at God and never acknowledge Him as Dad? I think God wants a dad/son or a dad/daughter relationship with each of us. Will you let God be the most terrific Dad in the universe to you this year? He wants this type of relationship with each one of us.

Abba-Father gives me strength and faith to be a Dad for Brock and Blair. I allways reach out to him for wisdom. Before they were even born, God challenged me to cast a vision for my children's future to outthink this world. If I didn't have Abba-Father, my fathering would shift based on that days circumstances. Good Stuff.
