Easter Sunday is right around the corner. I am pumped about our three services this weekend. We have all kinds of cool stuff going on this week in preparation for these three services. People are building sets, putting up community tents, cleaning, ramping up their ministry teams, inviting people, and most of all praying for the weekend. I want to ask everyone who calls Barefoot their home, to pray daily for the weekend services.
I am getting ready to go into a planning meeting with our creative team to put the final touches on some things we are doing this weekend. I cannot wait to see what comes out of this. God has blessed our church with some creative minds and they really help in pulling it all together. I want to shout out a big thank you to this group! You Rock.
I was thinking this morning about Jesus... How He must of felt the week He went to the cross to fulfill His mission here on earth. Can you imagine the emotion, stress, anticipation, and everything else that ran through His mind as He did what He did. Unbelievable!!! That is our committed King we serve...He is amazing.

Amen! This week we celebrate what Christianity is all about. God's rescue mission for mankind climaxes in the resurrection of the Lamb, who was slain for our sins.

Chris and I have been talking a lot about that this week... I can't even imagine how Jesus must have felt that week knowing what was about to happen!!! It makes me rethink the little things I stress about....
I am really pumped too about what Jesus is going to do this weekend. Already praying and telling people about the service. Passed out all the postcards I had to my community and ran out. Going to be getting some more today. Your energy is contagious. The Holy Spirit is doing a mighty work in you and in your ministry team Pastor Clay!
