I talked on Sunday about finding your sweet spot. Not only is God asking me to shave things out of my life and work in my sweet spot. He's also challenging me to encourage others around me to do the same. I believe this makes for an unstoppable team.
This is a hard concept to drive into driven people's heart. We think the more we do, the more can happen. So we get "BUSY". I would agree with this to a certain extent. However, doing everything is not getting more done. We should always work hard, extremely hard at what we do. We should also encourage those around us to work hard at what they do.
Having a slack work ethic is not what I mean when I say, "do less". I mean doing less things. This will give us more time to work in our sweet spot. BIG DIFFERENCE. Start shaving some stuff and fluff and watch what happens. You will be freed to run after the vision God has placed in your heart.
What is God asking you to shave, so you can succeed?

Thanks for getting back so soon! That's unheard of.
My family and I will be renting a house in North Litchfield for the last week of June. We try to do this every year.
Do you ever get to Charlotte? You and your are welcome at Southbrook Church. We have a lot of pastors who visit, and they are considered the most honored of guests.
Hope to see you soon. Keep it up!

Pastor Clay,
This sermon was a very important and inspiring one. I watched many people step out to "get in the game" for the first time and be excited about doing it! This is a challenge for some of us busy bees, but critical as we become all God has in mind for us. It is all about Him and His glory and can't be if we aren't using the specific gift He gave us before the foundation of the world. God bless you and all you are doing in the Spirit!
