Heavenly Hoedown...

Today people were everywhere! We hit another record Crowd... 700 +. God is doing some amazing work through the people of Barefoot Community Church. We have added 200 people in the last three weeks to our numbers. That’s the kind of growth that Jesus talked about in Matthew chapter 13. Explosive growth!

God is moving in hearts and changing people’s spiritual direction. Families are being restored. Children are learning about Jesus. Teenagers are committing to follow Jesus left and right. People are finding purpose and meaning in life. The world around us is being impacted with the name of Jesus. Folks, we are a part of a great movement and I want us all to seek God deeply with our hearts. He has “Big Ole Honkin” Plans for us.

There was a party in heaven today… “A Heavenly Hoedown”… Because many stood today and said they wanted to come home to Jesus. I want to say to those of you who made this decision “it is the best decision that you have ever made in your life.” Jesus saw you, had compassion on you, and wrapped His arms around you. He has steak for you, because you chose to leave the pig food! There is a big party going on in Heaven right now because you came home today. Congratulations!

Barefoot…Get ready and hang on, because the party is just getting started.
We are going to be unveiling some exciting plans very soon. Again, I can’t wait.

IMPACT!!!

IMPACT! That is what happened in North Myrtle Beach this past week. Man... Jesus is the real deal and His name is being made famous in our city.

I am totally convinced that when we invite people to meet Jesus and we do our best to present who He is... that God does His part and draws people to Himself. He is at work all the time.

I believe the church... that's All God's people... are advertising agents for God. When we gather together and do our best to present the gospel in a creative and compelling way, people meet Jesus. BOTTOM LINE!

I saw so many using their gifts this past week. We had 50 - 70 volunteers each night at our Team Impact event. Five nights in a row people showed up, gave, and served with a no bars hold approach. The results... We saw 183 people commit to following Jesus and 79 of those went public with their faith by being baptized. WOW! That's advancing the Kingdom of God. I believe that is what the local church is called to do. Check out Matthew 13. I will be teaching from this passage in three weeks and I can't wait. It is going to be off the chain... This topic is one of my greatest passions.

• Thanks to all of you who served this past week. It is truly an honor to be on your team.
• Thanks to Team Impact. You guys were awesome to work with.
• Thanks to all who gave financially to this event. Your dollars changed the world.
• Thanks to all the cooks and chefs. The guys loved the food. Oh yea... I did too. Do you think we could do this every week?
• Thanks to the staff for putting in long hours. You all are Awesome.
• Thanks to God for allowing us to be here and join Him in this great adventure.

IT...

Planning for the next series is what Mark and I did today. I think it is going to be off the chain. We are calling the series "GPS" where we are going to get our direction from Jesus. This series will begin June, 24th and I cannot wait for the first message in the series. It keeps me up at night. It is big, It is vision, It is bigger than life, it is taking us to another level in ministry. Don't miss the weekend of the 24th. It will rock your world. By the way we will start two services that Sunday 8:30 and 10:30. Free Breakfast at both. Bring somebody with you to here about it.
