I started again this morning studying the picture the Old Testaments paints. It's Amazing! I love the O.T. It is all about how our loving-glorious God is in hot pursuit of His relationship with us. This story reaches It's climax when God sends His Son, Jesus, to restore the relationship we all long for. We are nothing without Him.
That is how the Old Testament starts... God took nothing and made it into something. God spoke and nothing became something.
God can do the same in our lives today... We may feel as though there is nothing that can solve our problem, circumstance, or relationship. How about asking God to turn that nothing into something... That is how He started the whole thing anyway and that is exactly where our nothing can start turning into something. By asking the Creator to take what seems to be nothing and turn it into something. He is amazing and our job is to pay attention. Ask and pay attention... This does not mean it will be easy steps for us or logical steps... It means He can, if we will! He is about turning our nothing into His something.
