Sunday Night Thoughts...

We had a great crowd again today... 600 +. God did some powerful things in our services today. We saw many today receive the righteousness that comes from God . That righteousness is Jesus. It fires me up when people step across the line of faith. This encourages me to step up and bat each and every week. May we all continue being the net that brings others to the feet of Jesus. Jesus did say the Kingdom of heaven is like a net.

I want to thank all the people who call Barefoot Community Church their home. You all keep inviting people to hear about Jesus each week. This is Awesome! You all do your part sooooo well. Keep on bringin them!

Our band really did a great job with "Mighty to Save" today, it was a really moving time.

The testimony video was power packed.

We are gearing up for some exciting things... we will be unveiling them over the next couple of months. I can't wait to share with you what's going to happen!

I had steak tonight... mine and all the leftovers. This meat was off the chain. I love red meat.

My wife and son are awesome... I love hanging out with them.

I'm getting back on the exercise program this week. I did terrible last week.

I was wondering if the the word "honkin" was anywhere in the Bible. I found it used quite often in NCV edition. Here are some exerts if you don't have this version:

Joseph stored up honkin quantities of grain, like the sand of the sea; it was so much that he stopped keeping records because it was beyond measure. Gen 41:49

They came out with all their troops and a large number of horses and chariots—a honkin army, as numerous as the sand on the seashore. Joshua 11:4

They buried him in the tomb that he had cut out for himself in the City of David. They laid him on a bier covered with spices and various blended perfumes, and they made a honkin fire in his honor.
2 Chron. 16:14

For the king of the North will muster another army, larger than the first; and after several years, he will advance with a honkin army fully equipped.
Dan 11:13

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a honkin fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Matt 12:40

From the sky big ole honkin hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.
Rev 16:21

I mom we know came with her daughter this Sunday. She said it was nice to "feel somthing at this chuch". Also our babysiters husband came this week. We had been asking him for months to come. He said he could "see himself going for a chuch like this, because he felt somthing". Keep it up.

I love our "honkin" Pastor and I have recently heard PasTor Ed Young in our TTM group, and he used the word "honkin" in his sermon...so we think he has been eavesdropping on OUR pastor Clay during his sermons.

Cheryl and Lea with the utmost respect and love of our Pastor Clay
